This is a few of the pieces I've made in my spare time over the past few months.

I thought id have a go at hand drawing some type here and playing with it in photoshop.

Dream Time Design

As one of my university projects i had to record real information and translate that into a way that it can be displayed visually. I chose to record my dreams, in both length and mood. I also worked out how much each day I spent dreaming and how much time I spent sleeping. This project was really captivating and i plan to do more similar designs to explore info graphics further.

Still alive and kicking!

So I've moved to southampton to study a BA in Graphic design. and so i am enjoying it. We went on a trip to amsterdam and were told we have to create 2 double page spreads on the given locations (mine was the tuschinski cinema) but we were allowed to stray off topic if we felt it was necessary. So i brought a 35mm slr camera with me to get all my photos. mostly down to the fact i don't have any other camera. But because i took so many photos with this method i unfortunately lost many many potentially awesome photos which broke my heart.

As i spent alot of the trip taking photos i felt that i should use one of the black and white ones that i shot on ilford xp5. as for the layout i wanted to keep it simple with the typography on the left while still giving room for the body copy

this is my more simple modern layout. i like this style and i think it compliments how amsterdam is. As it comes across clean and thought out which is sort of like the city.

just getting some ideas down here as potential titles playing about with different fonts seeing how they work together.

Escapizm

For my most recent project i decided to create a website which you could type in your postcode and search for walks in the local area. This website is based around the idea of needing to escape and relax.

This is a Branding project for my college Final major project. I decided to brand a brewery that would target a younger audience of adventurers by modernising the old english ale style.

C~ Music

A friend of mine has recently started his journey into electronic music production. And to support him i created a simple logo so to give him more definition and symbolism.
